At present, in our country, the craft of producing and processing yam saponin is used the traditional craft which lasts for 50years: Fermentation - hydrochloric acid hydrolysis-gasoline- crushing the whole body of Huangjiang then fermentation and carryingon the acid hydrolysis. In 2Ms acidity,120 degrees Celsius temperatures, under 0.18MP pressure condition. After that the acidolysis solid is cleaned to obtain the hydrolysate. Yam saponin can be withdrawed from hydrolysate after dry. The shortcomings of traditional craft is that it will take a long time to withdraw yam saponin, it will waste a lot of raw material, it will pollute environment, the quality of product is not good, the cost of production is high. When our country enlarges the environment supervisory dynamics, the manufacturers stop production and reorganize.
