Usage-Pencil portable Digital steel water Hardness tester meter
Please use hardness pencil scratch surface of the coating to test surface hardness of the coating. Fixing the hardness pencil to 45 angle, and make the front head of the pencil contact with surface of the coating with proper load. Moving the test platform to make surface of the coating move and pass the front head of the pencil in accordance with a certain speed (JIS standard 0.5 mm/s), then the most soft pencil hardness level which cause no damage (scratches) can be regarded as hardness of the coating layer.
