The belt filter press is a continuous-feed dewatering device that applies chemical conditioning, gravity draining, and mechanical pressure to dewater sludge. The sludge/slurry is sandwiched between tensioned belts and rolls, by passing those belts through a serpentine of decreasing diameter rolls to remove the moistures and then dispose of the sludge cake. The compressed sludge is reversed several times to be pressed by low, medium and high pressures between two belts, and passively dewatered by squeezing of the rolls. Purpose: Liquid/solids separation through pressure filtration. Features: Triple filter belt design: Triple filter belt circulation is suitable for a large quantity application continuously.
