While wafer strips are more thinner than chocky bars, aim at ease of use and installation. Same with chocky bars, the hardness of wear-resisting layer is 700 BHN, providing superior wear resistance impact protection, easy to use,no storage problems or excessive cutting into strips required when compared to sheets of wear plates. And the notches in the casting backing plate assist in cutting them to size or bending them to shape to suit the application, easy to cut and form onto inside and outside contoured surfaces, no pre-heating or post heating required when welding into position. Our company specializes in the production of wafer strips available in the thicknesses of 12mm with variety of width, thinner and lighter than chocky bars, available with or without notched backing plate, meeting different use requirements.The wafer strips can be widely applicable to bucket wear strips, fan blade liners, pugmill paddles, tip and scrapers, road planer skids and pick protectors and recycling industry.
