The neoprene foam is laminated with a 3M double coated polyester tape with an acrylic adhesive system. As the foam is being laminated with the adhesive, the foam is scored to the release paper liner, five across. Then, the rolls of neoperene foam are sheeted to length. The adhesive is designed for sticking to low surface energy plastics, and the end product is adhered to the headliner of an automobile.
