In order to eliminate the volatile organic compounds (VOC) from the waste gases, honeycomb monoliths are lined inside regenerative thermal oxidizer (RTO) as a ceramic heat exchanger bed, and utilized for preheating and cooling the waste gases before the gases entering and exiting the combustion chamber respectively; in normal condition, it can recover as much as 91% to 96% of the heat from oxidation, and save much fuel.Our ceramic monolith is honeycomb-like structure with thousands of parallel channels, which provides outstanding pressure drop and heat recovery due to its straight drop channels and high surface area, also provides a more efficient alternative to other ceramic media, such as saddles or balls, which have conventionally been used in before.At present, our typical size of monolith is 150 x 150 x 150 - 300mm.
