These EH series were also designed for industrial applications, such as hazardous environments that comply with FCC, TUV, UL, and CE standards. Advanced Protection for Networking EH2006 has normal 6-port packet-switch infrastructure by standard RJ-45 connectors. It can protect itself from receiving too many broadcast packets. During normal use, and broadcast packets will be forwarded to all ports except to the source port. However, EH2006 series will discard broadcast or multicast packets if the numbers of those packets exceed a threshold in a preset period of time. When the preset period is expired (about 800ms), it will then resume to receive broadcast or multicast packets until the threshold is reached again. Self-recovery and Alarm notification All EH products provide two redundant power inputs that can be connected simultaneously to wide-range DC power sources. If one of the power inputs fails, another live source will active as the backup to provide power automatically
