ATE-EUC Application System - Client/Server Environment
Arphic spent 2 years to develop the ATE-EUC(Arphic Text Exchange-Enhanced Unix Code) Application System to provide the total solution for the supporting of the huge character set standard on Windows platform, you can type 4-bytes encoding characters in MS Word, merge data from 4-bytes encoding database to your Word form or letter template, you can query, insert and modify the data stored in remote 4-bytes encoding database with the IE browser on local Windows client. Currently, the ATE-EUC application system already support CNS 11643, and the system architecture is also can be applied to JIS X 0213:2000, GB18032 or Unicode 3.1. System Features : * Client/Server Environment 1. Provide the ATE-EUC TrueType fonts that support the target character set, for an example, CNS 11643 (include 73,677 characters). 2. Provide the ATE-EUC IME (Chanjei/Zuin/EUCCode input methods) to input the characters of target huge character set on the client. 3. Edit text of target huge character set in MS Word and WordPad. 4. Allow merge data from the table of 4-bytes encoding database to your Word form, letter template or Excel table. 5. ATE-EUC Client/Server SDK enable accessing the data of remote 4-bytes encoding database server from the client program developed with VC++, VB, Delphi and C++ Builder. 6. Print the text of CNS11643 on any printer supported by Windows. 7. Support Oracle, IBM DB2, SQL and other databases. 8. Support NT 4.0 and Win2000 client.
