Just connecting SAC-100, no need to buy expensive Serial ATA Hard Disk. It`s an ideal device that transfer Parallel ATA (IDE HDD) signal into Serial ATA signal by using build-in control chip. It uses a 7-pin L type connector to connect with motherboard or RAID card. The size is much smaller than IDE ribbon cable.
