nBox series is a metal housing solution for adapting mini ITX form factor motherboard. To provide system integrator tailor-made computing platform, PCW designed the nBOX with internal 90 W DC to DC power board converted with external 120W AC/DC adapters. Special heatpipe connected to aluminum chassis makes nBOX the greatest thermal solution. The inner mechanism is designed to accommodate the mini ITX motherboard. Bay options for 2.5`` or 3.5`` HDD optical drives; nBOX provides 6 models option for building a multimedia computing platform. Application nBOX series is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications in the market, such as home entertainment center, POS, KIOSK, ATM, Thin Servers, diskless workstations, building automation, project screens for department stores and supermarkets, tour bus displays, and much more. Fanless nBox is meant to be a reliable system for its fanless availability while system integrators use VIA mini ITX motherboard. Please refer to www.via.com.tw for the selection... In most of cases, thermal defines system reliability. A system directly free from the downtime of a fan that most of the time results in system malfunction. Single and Dual Bay for optical drives, nBox provide 2 dimensions for system integrators to customize with their application. The larger size of nBOX , the model GD series, in form factor of home DVD player offer the availability up to 2 optical drives at front panel access. The smaller size of nBox, the model GS series is 50% smaller in width then GD. In ``size matters`` scenario, GS series is lighter, compact, and inexpensive.
