Heat-Stable Grade Lactic Acid


Heat stable lactic acid is an L (+) lactic acid produced by fermentation. It is a clear syrupy and hygroscopic liquid that complies with the specification of the food Chemical Codex V, the EP 2002(European Pharmacopoeia) and the USP 27(US Pharmacopoeia). Its coloration does not exceed 50 Hazen after being heated for two hours at 200° C.It is used for the synthesis of high quality Sodium and Calcium Stearoyl Lactylates. Sodium and Calcium Stearoyl Lactylates are used widely in food industry to improve the foods` speciality, are of major importance in the sector of bread and cake making as the available emulsifiers.It is Halal and Kosher certified product.
