In VBR mode, the bit rate varies from the video source while maintainging a constant picture quality. The VBR is appropriate in storage application while the CBR is used primarily in transmitting the video data over a fixed-bandwidth link. VBR Streaming Output GS-5004V could generate MPEG4 streaming data through onboard Ethernet interface. Dependents on client site`s application, these streaming data may be saved into a HDD or consumed as a live movie. FTP Server GS-5004V has a built-in FTP server to facilitate an internet client for downloading encoded Video data.
