Premium rubber seals to prevent leakage. Stronger steel baseplates that are lock seamed to heavy-duty steel housings for solid spin-on threading. A clean side anti-drainback valve with zero leakage guarantees a supply of clean oil when the engine is started. A bypass valve that is designed for the higher pressures of import applications. In the event the filter media becomes clogged, this valve will open to insure full flow of oil to prevent engine damage. Premium filter media designed with a low enough micron rating to trap small dirt particles, yet allow sufficient flow at low pressures... providing for increased dirt holding capacety. Higher burst pressures for import applications.
