The particularconnecting technique ensures perfect mechanical and electrical operation. Thehot zones and cold ends are made of exceptionally homogeneous, self-bondedsilicon carbide.Dumbbell heating elements are manufactured in a range of 8 to 45mm in hotzone diameter, 150 to 3,000mm in hot zone length and 300 to 4,500mm in totallength. The heating rods are self-supported and can be installed vertically orhorizontally.
