Copper clad aluminum wire (CCA) is one of ourmainstream products. CCA wire is a bimetallicwire consisting of an aluminum core covered bya concentric copper cladding; we use a proprietaryprocedure to bond the aluminum and copper at theirinterface resulting in a single composite wire. Theuniform bond obtained allows drawing of the wireinto different specifications but the ratio of outercopper to the wire`s overall diameter remains constant.Copper-clad aluminum wire offers significant advantagesover solid copper wire: CCA costs less, weighs less,handles and installs more easily. CCA is ideally suited toreplace solid copper wire in cable television and otherheavy load network signal transmission. Since the frequencyof the television signals is comparatively higher, it concentrateson the outer layer of the wire; when the frequency is higherthan 5mc, the conductivity is the same with CCA and solidcopper wire.
