The alternator can be coupledwith a prime mover directly or through a V-belt, with 5% change of speedof the prime mover under load variation from 0 to 100% and from 100% to0, at a voltage of 230V or 115V, 50Hz or 60Hz to get a satisfactoryconstant-voltage performance.STC series are to be used in towns, countryside, work sites, mountaindistricts and lands as an electric power source for lighting purpose. Itcan be also used as a reserved power source for emergent case. Thesegenerators are of drip-proof with rotary field type and with the adoption ofharmonic excitation system, which allow your easy operation and simplemaintenance. The generators are of three-phase four-wire type, makinguse of star connection. The rated line voltage is 400V, phase voltage is230V, frequency is 50Hz, power factor is 0.8 lag. They can be coupledwith a prime mover directly or through a V-belt, making right or reversecontinuous rotation at the rated speed. When the revolution slip of primemover is 3% and load varies in the range from 0 to 100% and from100% to 0, cosΦ1.0 - 0.8 and cosΦ0.8 - 1.0. They give good constantvoltage. After sudden change (increase or decrease) of load, generatorswill soon return to their normal working state.
