Curved Tempered Glass
Flat and bent tempered glass is processed by flat glass, heated to softening point around 700°C through heat treatment processing. Then cool it down rapidly and smoothly on the glass surface so as to bring very strong tensile stress inside of glass and much stronger pressure stress on its surface, thereby increasing the strength and thermal stability of the glass.Tempered glass has good bending and impact strength for 3 - 6 times more than common glass. Tempered glass has good thermal stability, able to withstand the mutational difference in temperature 200-300°C. The ordinary glass can resists 70 - 100°C, therefore, it is hard to be broken, even if it suffers external pressure beyond its limit to be broken, its granular debris will be like peanuts without knife-edge, it will not hurt people and is more safe. When tempered glass is applied in the curtain wall, its coefficient of anti-wind load is much higher than ordinary glass. There are two types of tempered glass products: flat tempered glass and curved tempered glass.Product specifications:Maximum size: 3,000 x 3,660mmMinimum size: 100 x 100mmThickness: 2.8 - 25mmProduct applications:Balcony doors and windows, glass curtain walls, full glass doors, shop display windows, glass partition walls, bathroom glass, railing glass of escalators, glass backboards, gymnasium construction, building shields
