Powerful motor : 25/20HP (Opt.35/30HP) Spindle torque 572Nm/4000rpm (Opt.382Nm/6000rpm) 1. Width of machine base 1200mm, is bigger than column`s 900mm(1000). Enable to obtain a very good rigidity. The stability is about 30% more rigid than ordianary planer ones. 2. The signle one piece of column and bridge casting is made by Meehanite casting. The column is bolted to the machine bed to ensure the accuracy, alignment and rigidity. 3. Honey-comb cross rail construction. Y-axis cross-roller slideway are arranged to eliminate of horizontal and vertical deflections. Its strength is about 25% stronger than ordinary parallel linear slide-ways. 4. Two cross-roller slideways in the beam (Y-axis) are in ``Ladder`` design. The horizontal distance of two cross-roller slideways (Y-axis) is 300mm 5. Multiple bearing blocks on Y axis linear ways are symmetrically placed to ensure the equal loading and prevents any bending or twisting for a long-time using. 6. All the spindles are constructed with high precision P4 grade bearings. The spindle transmission (4,000 and 6,000rpm) for high-low speed ranges use the German manufactured Z/F gear box. Cog beltstransmit the power to the center drive shaft then by gear to the spindle. This design reduces friction in the spindle bearings eliminating a large percentage of spindle growth and lengthening the spindle life. 7. The high-torque spindle motor coupled with the 2-speed gear box provides heavy cutting capaility at low speeds and powerful high speed cutting characteristics.
