Dependingon the shape it can be divided into the fully tempered glass and the heat strengthenedglass (also called semi-tempered glass).Product characteristics:Tempered glass is 3 to 4 times as strong as common glass. If broken due to some external force, it will form bean-sized nodules lessening or avoiding damage or injuryto people and the surrounding area. Our tempered glass has a high degree ofprecision, a low rate of self-blasting and no stress flaws.Product specifications:1) Maximum size: 6,000mm x 2,440mm2) Minimum size: 250mm x 200mm3) Thickness:a) 4-25mm(tempered)b) 4-10mm(semi-tempered)Standards: BS6206, ASTM1048-97, JISR3206-96, DIN18516.Note: Tempered glass will sometimes self-blast due to the characteristics of thematerial. This is caused by the NiS, which sometimes becomes unstable after heatingand sudden cooling. While the possibility of self-destruction can be reduced,it can`t be eliminated completely. To minimize the chances of self-blasting, wehave a large heat-soak furnace to reduce the chances of self-blasting.
