Dual-usage DVB-T PC-STB Module
The PC-STB module is built in with a pair of VGA input and output such that users can enjoy quality DVB-T digital TV programs without the necessity to turn on the host PC. The built-in VGA input when hooked up with the VGA output of the host PC facilitates the switch of the monitor output image between the DTV programs and the PC data processing. - Adopt the most advanced COFDM demodulator and MPEGII hardware decoder to receive and decode the received signals and generate crystal clear terrestrial broadcast DVB-T DTV programs. - Enjoy digital TV programs with the host PC off. - Compatible with CRT monitors and LCD panels. - Switch between the DTV programs and PC data processing by a single keystroke. No hard plug-in or plug-out action is required. - Capable of receiving 6 MHz channel bandwidth ( in Taiwan ) and 7, 8, channel bandwidths ( in Europe ). - Possess patented PCB layout to resist cross-channel interference and automatic error correction codec for video signals such that the reception quality is ensured even if working in a poor SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) area. - Support EPG (Electronic Program Guide) which shows the updated introduction of all of the programs. - Support Teletex which reveals the current status of weather, train schedule, stock information in a text format (Please be advised that this function depends on local availability.). - Provide a 9-channel preview function in a pseudo TV-wall pattern. - Automatic channel scanning and seeking. - OSD with multiple languages and characters. - Keyboard is built in. - S/W upgrade portability is an option. - Compatible with infrared remote control. *for more information: http://www.asuka-semi.com.tw
