The machine consists of a frame which includes a saddle consisting of a longitudinal slide, a traverse slide and a swiveling table (on request).The tool is secured to the head of the tool-holding slide, which vertically slides on the fixed and tilting head. An eccentric saddle connected to a connecting rod, transmitting the movement to the tool-holder, gives the movement. The speed regulation is obtained by means of a frequency switch that changes the motor revolutions and, therefore, the slide jogs.The feeding movement is usually performed by the longitudinal slide (on request, also by the traverse slide). The tool working distance enables the slide rise to the top dead centre, preventing the tool rubbing on the machined surface.A machining cycle includes: tool working distance automatic feed, some idle jogs of the tool holder at machining end, fast return of the slide to the home position and automatic stop of the tool holder in the upper position
