This is an exquisite silk embroidery table screen from China, the pandas, trees and flowers are all hand embroidered on both sides of a translucent fabric with fine silk threads and the patterns on both sides look exactly the same. Double-sided embroidery is a special hand embroidery art from China, it requires ultimate skill and artistry. The stitching takes place on both sides of a single translucent silk fabric, the design shows on both sides (front and reverse) are exactly the same and all the joints are hidden and not visible so the reverse side can't be distinguished.
