Definition of Incinerated steel scrap as per European Steel Scrap Specification: fragmentised scrap from incineration Fragmentized incinerator scrap. Loose steel scrap processed through an incinerating plant for household waste followed by magnetic separation, fragmentized into pieces not exceeding 200 mm in any direction and consisting partly of tin coated steel cans. Should be prepared in a manner to ensure direct charging. The scrap shall be free of excessive moisture and rust. Must be free of Excessive metallic copper, tin , lead , (and alloys) and sterile to meet the aimed analytical contents Density : >0,8 Fe Content : > 92% Description incinerated steel scrap by Mehta Steels : The Incinerated steel scrap supplied by Mehta Steels is of the best quality of incinerated scrap available. We say best quality because the incinerated scrap is basically the steel scrap taken from the bottom ashes generated from garbage and municipal waste burnt to produce power. Such steel scrap is than processed in heavy duty state of art magnetic separators to remove the maximum non metal impurities from the steel. Also all the non ferrous is sorted so that clean incinerated steel scrap ready to be consumed by steel mills is produced.
