DescriptionThe PIF range of plate mounted low pressure axial fans consists of five nominal diameters: 250.300.350 and 400 and 500mm respectively.Air volume performs performance ranges from 1,087 up to 6,291cbm/hr.ApplicationsThe PIF range are designed to be installed directly into walls, ceilings or panels and are suitable for use within a wide range of general ventilation applications.Applications include the ventilation of:-Cafes, bars and small restaurants.-Commercial premises.-Small workshops.In general the PIF range is suitable for many ventilation applications where the extraction or supply of small air volumes at low pressures are required.ConstructionMounting PlateAll PIF plate Mounted Axial Fans include a one piece bell mouth inlet and mounting plate manufactured from pressed steel. This mounting plate assembly is protected by epoxy powder paint finish.Motor SupportThe motor and fan impeller are firmly supported within the mounting plate by a strong steel support frame. The support frame is bolted to the mounting plate. Rubber cushions are fitted between the frames and the supporting arms. All models include a steel guard as standard mounted to the outlet side of the fan.ImpellerAll models incorporate a five blade impeller manufactured from die cast aluminum and finished with epoxy-polyester paint. The impellers are factory matched and balanced onto the corresponding motors.MotorAll models incorporate single phase and three shaded pole asynchronous induction motors with squirrel cage rotor in die cast aluminum.Manufactured in accordance with IEC 34-1 standard. The following specifications apply.-Electrical Supply -220V 50Hz, single phase. 380V 50Hz, three phase.All models incorporate Class F Insulation.All models are supplied with a flexible cable for connection to the electrical supply.
