The gain module is equipped with PIN diodes, microprocessor, control and monitor circuits. Thus, the input, output, and return power can be accurately monitored and controlled. The EDFA1000-T offers not only the same functions with the EDFA1000-S, but also wavelength conversion from 1310nm to 1550nm. Therefore, the EDFA1000-T is suitable for both 1550nm and 1310nm transmission system, and will greatly improve the application performance. Also, the EDFA1000-T offers optional remote monitoring function.
