Sicilian winery, located on the hills around Marsala, on 250 meters on sea level, produces typical DOC and IGT wines.After a careful selection of varieties and clones, the winery now grows up Catarratto lucido and extra lucido, Inzolia, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot and Chardonnay.According to the cultivars and the zone, the planting density is of about 4-5.000 vines per hectare. The constant monitoring of the vines and the correct balance between production and cultivation are always taken into account with the respect of the grape and allow an appropriate concentration of sugars, volatile substances and poli-phenol in the grapes. The cultivation of the plants happens in dry ground with the possibility, thanks to an artificial river basin, to take part in the year with one or two irrigations of aid.The vineyards are trained in the counter-espalier system and are pruned in spurred cordon or guyot.
