YZ-PenStrepto 2020 suspension (penicillin G procaine and dihydrostreptomycin sulfate suspension)Composition:1) Each millimeter contains:2) Penicillin G procaine: 200,000iu3) Dihydrostreptomycin sulphate: 250,000iu4) Solvents ad: 1mlDescription:1) The product is provided as a white or off-white suspension2) Pharmacological actions3) The combination of penicillin G procaine and dihydrostreptomycin acts additive and in some cases synergistic4) Procaine penicillin G is a small-spectrum penicillin with a bactericidal action against mainly gram-positive bacteria like campylobacter, clostridium, corynebacterium, erysipelothrix, haemophilus, listeria, penicillinase negative staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp5) Dihydrostreptomycin is an aminoglycoside with a bactericidal action against mainly Gram-negative bacteria like E. coli, klebsiella, pasteurella, salmonella and staphylococcus sppIndications:Arthritis, mastitis and gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary tract infection caused by penicillin and dihydrostreptomycin sensitive micro-organisms, like campylobacter, clostridium, corynebacterium, E. coli, erysipelothrix, haemophllus, klebsiolla, listeria, pasteurella, salmonella, and staphylococcus spp., in calves, cattle, goats, sheep and swine.Contra-indications:1) Hypersensitivity to penicillin, procaine and/or aminoglycosides2) Administration to animals with a serious impaired renal function3) Concurrent administration with tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, macrolides and lincosamidesSide effects:1) Administration of therapeutic dosages of penicillin G procaine can result in abortion in sows. Ototoxity, neurotoxicity or nephrotoxicity2) Hypersensitivity reactionsDosage:1) For intramuscular administration; shake well before use2) Cattle, calves, goats, sheep and swine: 1ml per 25kg body weight for 3 days3) Do not administer more than 20.0ml in cattle, more than 10.0ml in swine and more than 5.0ml in calves, sheep and goats per injection siteWithdrawal times:For meat: 28 days; for milk: 7 days.Storage:Store in a dry and cool place, protect from light.Packing:Bottle of 50 and 100ml.
